A soothing soup that helps ease digestion, PMS, and SIBO.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cans organic coconut milk
- 10 organic carrots
- 1 piece of fresh ginger, thumb size
- 1 Tbsp turmeric
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts (optional)
Instructions
- Peel carrots and cut off ends. Peel ginger.
- Place all of your ingredients in your Vitamix (except the hemp hearts) beginning with the milk.
- Set to the soup setting and turn on.
- Pour into bowls and top with hemp hearts.
Notes
Slow-Cooker
- Place all of your ingredients in your slow-cooker (except the hemp hearts). Set on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Use an immersion blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into bowls and top with hemp hearts.
Stove Top
- Place all of your ingredients in a large pot. Turn the stove on high and bring to a bowl, turn to medium-low and let cook for 30-60 minutes, or until carrots are soft.
- Use an immersion blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into bowls and top with hemp hearts.
