Flu-Fighting Chicken Noodle Soup

Fight off sickness while building your immune system with this simple gut healing soup!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 chicken breast (boneless, skinless)
  • 1/2 sweet onion
  • 2 celergy sticks
  • 2 carrots
  • 1/2 Tbsp garlic (peeled and minced)
  • 1/2 Tbsp ginger (peeled and minced)
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • himalayan sea salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 8 cups bone broth
  • 1 square brown rice ramen noodles

Instructions

  1. Add some extra virgin olive oil to the bottom of your instant pot and turn to sautee.
  2. When the instant pot is hot, add the chicken breast and brown each side for 3 minutes.
  3. Turn the instant pot off and add the vegetables, seasonings, and broth. Put the lid on and seal the valve.
  4. Cook on manual high for 10 minutes with quick release.
  5. Remove the chicken breasts and set aside.
  6. Turn the instant pot to sautee and add the noodles.
  7. Use two forks to pull apart the chicken and then add back to the soup.
  8. Let cook for another 5 minutes or until the noodles are soft.
