Chickpea Ice Cream
- 1 Cup Chickpeas (canned or dried and soaked 12 hours)
- 3 Bananas (frozen)
- 2 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
Maple Cinnamon Roasted Chickpeas (Optional)
- 1/2 Cup Chickpeas (canned or dried and soaked 12 hours)
- 1 Tbsp Organic Avocado Oil
- 1 Tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Arrowroot Powder
Instructions
Maple Cinnamon Chickpea Ice Cream
- Place all the ingredients in your blender. Blend until your desired consistency.
- Freeze for 30 minutes if needed.
- Optional: Top with Maple Cinnamon Roasted Chickpeas!
Maple Cinnamon Roasted Chickpeas
- Preheat your oven to 400F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Remove the skins from the chickpeas, rinse, and dry well.
- In a small bowl, gently mix the chickpeas with the oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, and arrowroot powder until evenly coated.
- Spread them out on the baking sheet, making sure they aren’t touching.
- Bake for 10 minutes, stir and spread out evenly and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Let cool completely before serving.
