This recipe comes together really quickly and is full of skin-loving ingredients like chocolate and oranges. Whip up a double or triple batch and keep them in the refrigerator for an easy grab-and-go snack, or the perfect school snack for the kiddos.

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 8 dates
- ¼ cup raw cacao powder
- ¼ cup chia seeds
- 2 oranges
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Dark chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Halve the dates and remove the pits.
- Zest the oranges.
- In a food processor, pulse to combine the oats, dates, cacao powder, and chia seeds.
- Add the orange zest, orange juice, vanilla, and chocolate chips (if using).
- Pulse to combine, until it forms a ball.
- Roll into 12 balls and place on a plate and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Notes
Variation Tip
The orange zest adds a strong flavor, if you’re not a fan, simply use the zest from one orange instead of both.
