Simple, delicious, great for the brain and only five ingredients … it’s the perfect snack!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups oats
- 2 Tbsp extra virgin coconut oil
- 1 Tbsp raw honey
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- In your food processor, add your oats and blend on high for 1 minute, until it becomes a mixture of oats and oat flour.
- Add the honey, oil, and vanilla. Mix until it turns into a dough-like consistency.
- Add in the chocolate chips and mix with a spatula.
- Roll into 12 balls and place on a cookie sheet or tray.
- Refrigerate until firm (around 15 minutes, and totally optional!).
Notes
High Protein
Use 1 cup of oats and 1 cup of almond flour.
Substitutes
Use avocado oil or walnut oil, maple syrup instead of honey, and dark chocolate chunks if you can’t find dark chocolate chips.
Sweetness
If it’s too sweet then use 1 Tbsp of honey, if you want it sweeter then go up to 2 Tbsp of honey.
Make it Vegan
Swap the honey for pure maple syrup.
