A dairy-free, egg-free eggnog alternative!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups cashews, soaked (see note below)
  • 2 1/2 cups filtered water
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp blackstrap molasses
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients into your blender. Blend on high until smooth.

Notes

How-To Soak Cashews

  • Place your cashews in a bowl.
  • Fill with water until cashews are covered.
  • Cover the bowl and let sit 8-12 hours.
  • Drain water and rinse cashews.

Making it Silky Smooth

  • If you prefer a smoother consistency, you can use a reusable nut bag (or cheesecloth) to strain out the pulp for a silky smooth texture. It takes an extra 10 minutes, but is worth the results in my opinion!
