Unhealthy holiday choices affect more than just your food habits.
You know what I mean, don’t you? Yes, somehow the holidays encourage you to eat copious amounts of Christmas cookies, drink bottomless glasses of alcohol, and pile your plate too high at Christmas dinner …
But I’m talking about how, throughout the holidays, we have a bent towards unhealthy nutrition and lifestyle habits. Like forgetting to drink enough water, not getting enough sleep, struggling to say no to food or commitments, or just plain stressing out over all the holiday things.
Any of this sound familiar?
And I get it – if you’ve followed me for long enough you know how much I struggle to prioritize sleep. It’s quite easy to put our health on the back burner. Frankly, the holidays can get the best of any of us.
Getting you through the holidays feeling in control so you can easily make healthy choices is absolutely my goal.
So, I’ve created an amazing Holiday Survival Guide to help you out!
This FREE ebook includes some of my most well-loved advice to clients, as well as a checklist, suggested supplements, and my go-to green juice recipe.

HOLIDAY SURVIVAL GUIDE – THE BASICS
HAVE A PLAN
Always go into the holidays with a plan, at least if your intentions are to stay healthy, because the temptations can get the best of anyone.
It doesn’t have to be detailed, but a simple plan can go a long way towards staying on track.
A plan to drink a green juice each morning, eat a salad before you go out, fit in regular exercise, or stay hydrated daily can change how you approach the holidays.
BE PREPARED
Even the best laid plans can get run over when the unexpected happens. You’ve experienced that before, haven’t you?
Being prepared can help you execute your plan easily during the crazy, busy holiday season.
Keeping pre-cut vegetables in the fridge, having a healthy stash of snacks handy when you’re on-the-go (think in your purse, glove compartment, desk, etc.), and even sleeping in your workout clothes are all creative ways to help you stick to your plan.
BE A GIVER
Never go to someone else’s house unprepared … it doesn’t help anybody! Always go bearing gifts to share that help give everyone a healthy boost, and take some of the pressure off the hostess – while also giving you healthy options to enjoy.
Try bringing along some sparkling water and frozen berries, a fresh vegetable platter, or a healthy dessert.
FORGET THE 80/20 RULE
If you think a cheat day or the standard 80/20 rule is an easy way to stay focused during the holidays – think again! These are recipes for disaster and binges, especially at this time of year.
The best thing you can do is to throw out the rule book and get a little more intuitive and aware of your body.
If you decide to stick to the plan that you made, you can choose to eat healthy and indulge, in moderation, only when it’s really worth it.
That means no guilt, no shame, and no restrictions – just smart choices that align with your plan.
Easy peasy.
