- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
- 1/4 cup Organic Low-Sodium Chicken Broth
- 1 Navel Orange, zested and juiced
- 1/4 cup Blackstrap Molasses
- 2 tbsp Coconut Aminos
- 8 cups Broccoli, chopped into florets
- 1 1/2 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Sea salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp Sesame Seeds
Instructions
- Dice your chicken breasts into cubes.
- Melt your coconut oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and saute until cooked through and browned, about 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a small sauce pan combine the broth, orange zest, orange juice, molasses, and coconut aminos. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
- Simmer for 10 minutes, then pour over chicken. Mix well to coat and turn to a simmer until sauce is reduced down and thickened.
- Steam your broccoli until bright in colour and toss with olive oil, sea salt and black pepper.
- Divide the broccoli between plates and top with the orange chicken. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.
