Easy-Peasy Raspberry Chia Jam

  • Author: Sharisse Dalby
  • Prep Time: 2 minutes
  • Cook Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 12 minutes
  • Yield: 2 cups 1x

Description

Jam can be good for you, but store-bought jams are chalk full of preservatives and sugar. This homemade jam is a great source of antioxidants, healthy fats, and minerals. It also makes the “J” in PB & J the best part, and comes together in less than 15 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 2 tablespoons whole chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, combine the raspberries, chia seeds, and maple syrup. Turn to medium and continue stirring until it begins to bubble.
  2. Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, or until it begins to thicken.
  3. Remove from heat and pour into a mason jar. Let cool.
  4. Refrigerate for up to 7 days (or freeze!).

Notes

VARIATION TIP

This recipe can be made with any fruit you like. When I use strawberries, I like to pulse the ingredients in the blender first to get a smooth consistency.
