Description
Enjoy a healthy shortbread in less than 10 minutes!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup coconut flour (or spelt, whole grain, etc)
- 1/2 cup coconut butter
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- Pinch of sea salt
- 1/2 Camino organic extra dark chocolate bar (80% cacao)
Instructions
- In a small double broiler on low heat, melt the chocolate.
- Meanwhile, use your hands to combine the rest of the ingredients in a small bowl.
- Roll into 12 balls and place on a cookie sheet covered with a reusable cookie sheet or wax paper.
- Dip half of each ball into chocolate and set on wax paper.
- Place in the freezer for 5 minutes, or until chocolate is hardened.
- Store in the fridge in an airtight container.
Notes
Time-Saving Tip
- Mix some dark chocolate chunks into the batter instead of dipping in chocolate to make it in half the time! (Yes, I’m talking 5 minutes instead of 10 minutes …)
