Description
A sweet Canadian style BBQ sauce to add to your burgers before grilling.
Ingredients

- 1 5.5 oz can organic, low-sodium tomato paste
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar, with the mother
- 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
- 2 Tbsp blackstrap molasses
- 2 Tbsp mustard
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 garlic cloves, roasted and mashed (see notes)
- 1/8 tsp cloves
- 1/8 tsp all spice
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, whisk to combine.
Notes
Storage Tip
Store in a mason jar in the fridge for 7-10 days.
How-To Roast Garlic
- Preheat your oven to 425F.
- Cut off the top of the garlic bulb, just enough to expose the cloves.
- Place on aluminum foil and drizzle with olive oil. Wrap into a pouch.
- Bake for 35 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and squeeze the garlic cloves out of their skin and into your food processor.
