Description

A gluten-free and nutrient dense way to enjoy your favourite morning breakfast!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Yam
  • Toppings of choice (see notes)

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice yam, lengthwise.
  2. Place in the toaster for 2-2:30 minutes. Flip and cook another 2-2:30 minutes, or until softened.
  3. Top with your favourite toppings (see notes) and enjoy!

Notes

Ingredients are listed per slice of yam toast.

Peanut Butter + Banana

1 Tbsp natural, unsalted peanut butter, 1/2 banana sliced thinly, and a sprinkle of cinnamon or turmeric

Protein Punch

1/2 avocado sliced thinly and 1 egg (made the way you like it!)

Sweetened Pear

1/2 pear sliced thinly, 1 tsp raw honey, 1 Tbsp hemp hearts
